Mark B. Davis is an associate attorney and has been with the firm since 2007. Mark brings a diverse background to the firm. He served in the U.S. Army from 1983 to1987 and achieved the rank of sergeant as an infantry soldier. After leaving his hometown of Bad Axe, Michigan, he received a degree in Public Law and Government at Eastern Michigan University. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1997.

After graduating law school, Mark practiced law in Dearborn and Bay City, Michigan, as well as Florida before joining the firm. Working in such diverse environments has allowed Mark to accumulate a great deal of experience in many different areas of the law. In particular, he has extensive experience in real estate, litigation and appellate matters (including federal litigation and circuit court appeals). He handles all types of commercial and residential real estate transactions, from simple deed transfers to multi-million dollar purchases and sales, leases and loan agreements. He also has significant experience in assisting condominium associations with lending transactions.

Mark appears in court regularly and enjoys engaging in vigorous debates with judges and opposing attorneys. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Michigan and Florida, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mark has many interests outside of legal practice. He spends most of his free time with his wife, three children, and the family dog. He is an avid follower of the Lions and Tigers, and also enjoys home improvement projects, wood working and reading.

Mark has extensive experience in the emerging field of marijuana law and the impact that both recreational and medical marijuana can have on condominiums. He is a member of the Marijuana Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and frequently conducts seminars for community association organizations (such as UCOM) as well as for the ZDF Condo & HOA B.E.A.T. Program on the subject.
